ArchiveOne works without operator or user intervention. It links directly into the Microsoft SharePoint server. As items are submitted or updated, ArchiveOne creates an archive copy and ensures it is safely committed to the archive. Secure archives can be stored onto existing storage or onto dedicated devices, such as WORM drives, to meet specific regulations. They can also be managed through third party storage applications.
Search and retrieval
ArchiveOne indexes all items during the capture process. This increases search speeds and efficiency for finding data. Data can be searched for and retrieved by users, administrators or compliance officers according to permissions, either from within the product or through one of the latest search solutions such as Google Enterprise Server or Microsoft Search Server 2008.
Retention management
