Dave Hunt, Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Dave Hunt, founder and CEO of C2C brings more than 20 years of entrepreneurial experience and email management expertise to the organization. Dave Hunt co-founded C2C in 1992 with a vision to help IT Managers and businesses solve their message system problems.
Prior to founding C2C, Dave Hunt founded and managed a strategic IT marketing consultancy firm focusing on business development and specialist technologies of PC/Unix integration and messaging systems. The Company went on to become the first hi-tech centric marketing company in the UK to be recognized by the UK Government’s Department of Trade and Industry under the Marketing Initiative award scheme in 1989. In addition, Dave Hunt has held positions with ICL, the largest European computer manufacturer (now a constituent of Fujitsu) as a networking consultant and product manager. He was a director in business development and marketing roles for international operations at Datapoint.
Dave Hunt was educated at Sheffield University (mathematics) and has participated as a thought leader for the European Electronic Messaging Association throughout the 80′s and 90′s and consulted in how to help IT managers solve their email issues.
Ken Hughes, Chief Technology Officer & Board Director
Ken joined C2C in January 2005 and since then has made a substantial contribution to the technical support and development departments of the Company and more widely to the senior management team. Ken started his career as a Communications Engineer in the British Army where he spent 11 years working on various satellite, data communications and radio systems. Since leaving in 1996 he has worked with software for large communications solutions for Ericsson and Vodafone, and then for various software companies as a Technical Manager / Director responsible for Support, QA Testing, Engineering and Development teams. Ken’s responsibility covers all technical teams of C2C including Development, Support, Consulting, QA and IT. In 2011, Ken was appointed to the main Board of the Company.
Sally Riley, Human Resources Director & Co-Founder
C2C’s HR Director has worked in the software industry for over 30 years with a wealth of experience in personnel management and administration. Within the last ten years she has become a qualified counselor which she practices outside of C2C. The first 17 years of her career was at ICL (now Fujitsu). She was headhunted to set up and help run the development section of a start-up silicon chip company based in Bracknell. In 1989 she joined a consultancy company set-up by Dave Hunt and since then she has helped to set up and run C2C, both in the UK and US. She is a believer in psychometric testing and intelligence testing which helps in recruitment and staff retention within C2C.
Andrew Brown, Sales Director, EMEA
Andrew has a wealth of experience garnered from 20 years experience in the IT storage sector. At C2C, his responsibilities include total end-to-end channel management, from identifying the most suitable partners, to ongoing account management and sales enablement. Andrew joined C2C from hardware vendor, Tandberg Data, where he was the Regional Manager for UK, Eire and South Africa. Whilst at Tandberg Data, he was responsible for channel sales and market development in the region, successfully growing business by 60%. Prior to Tandberg Data, he worked for various storage resellers and distributors.
Mike Taylor, Vice President of Americas
Mike Taylor joined C2C as VP of Sales in November 2009. Before joining C2C, Mike was VP of Worldwide Sales at nTAG Interactive, where he led the sales and business development teams from 2005 to 2009, growing sales revenue 600% during that period. Prior to joining nTAG, Mike was VP of Sales at ReefEdge Networks, an early entrant in the wireless LAN switch market. Mike has also held sales leadership positions at InBoxer, Polycom, iBasis, Axis Communications, and Intranets.com. Mike began his sales career at Sprint Business. Mike holds an MBA from Babson College’s F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business and a BA from Bates College. In 2011, he was promoted to VP of Americas.
Rich Turner, Vice President of Business Development and Strategic Marketing
Mr. Turner is the Vice President of Business Development and Strategic Marketing for C2C Systems. He is tasked with identifying and developing new market opportunities for C2C’s information management and archiving systems with an emphasis on OEM opportunities and the legal community.
Prior to joining the C2C Team, Rich was Vice President of Content Analyst Company, where he helped take a start-up search software company to a leadership position in several vertical markets. Rich has also served as Vice President of Eastern Region Sales at Partminer Inc., Vice President of Business Development for Eventective, Inc., and Managing Director of Softbank Content Services’ European division (which is now part of A.C. Nielsen). Rich holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from the University of Bridgeport, and a Master’s Degree in International Business from Columbia University.
