Partnership to Allow Smart Archiving and Discovery of Emails Based on Classifications

Classifying for Archive
Classification creates metadata which remains with the email. The metadata can then be used by Archive One to segment records based on their business value.  This segmentation allows the assignment of unique retention and deletion policies based on the business value of the message, thus ensuring that records are not retained for longer than required for business or regulatory compliance reasons. Classification metadata can also dramatically improve the speed and effectiveness of the search and retrieval process. This approach has three main advantages that allows more effective data records storage decisions. 

1. Smart Filtering – based on the assigned classifications organizations can determine which messages contain valuable business information that needs to be retained in the archive.
2. Smart Retention – based on the classifications organizations can make intelligent decisions on how long to retain different classes of information in the archive
3. Smart Discovery – organizations can more easily find relevant email in the archive based on applied classifications.
