About C2C: Press News
C2C Systems Announces Archive One Reseller Program October 18th 2004 C2C Systems, a leading provider of email lifecycle management software for Microsoft Exchange, has launched a US reseller program for its flagship Archive One products. The first course will be held in Springfield, Mass., on Tuesday, November 9. Archive One — C2C’s email archiving solution for Microsoft Exchange — helps users reduce mailbox size, meet internal e-policy requirements for email retention and deletion, and meet email compliance regulations such as SEC Rule 17a-4 and Sarbanes-Oxley. It is the ideal product for messaging resellers who want to offer an email archiving line or storage resellers who want to provide an integrated solution to their customer base. In fact, C2C Systems has the only email archiving solution designed to integrate with a range of storage management vendors — including HP OpenView Data Protector and QStar Hierarchical Storage Management (HSM) — and is the only email archiving company certified to integrate with CA BrightStor ARCserve. “Smart resellers know that archiving has to integrate with storage strategy,” says John Casanova, C2C’s Channel Sales Manager. “C2C makes sure that email archiving fits in with the information storage strategy customers already have, archiving and retrieving data according to the same rules. CA, HP and QStar resellers can have great success offering this affordable and easily integrated solution to mid-size companies.” There’s money in messages. The messaging archiving market totaled $140 million worldwide in 2003 and is expected to grow to $420 million by 2008, according to Yankee Group. The storage networking market will also continue to grow over the next several years; Yankee estimates an annual growth rate for revenue of about 10 percent through 2008. Interested resellers can sign up for a sales track or a technical track. “We encourage resellers to send a sales trainer as well as a technical person,” says Casanova, noting that the class will cover topics from troubleshooting and first line tech support to sales tips, features and benefits. “We’re not the new kids on the block; C2C has been in business for more than 12 years and we have 3 million users worldwide. We’re excited to share our archiving expertise with the channel.” Participants will walk away with a CD of everything they need to sell the product — product demos, PowerPoint presentations and sales scripts, to name a few. For more information, contact Casanova at (413) 739-8575. Sign up deadline for the first course is Monday, November 1; a second class is tentatively scheduled for January 2005.
